All about Green Giving
Green Giving is a not for profit website set up and run by parents. We
believe that by ‘passing on’ unwanted children’s goods
we can help families in our community, promote social cohesion and help
the environment. What could be better!
We started the site in 2007 in Frome, Somerset. In 2008 we hope to
expand into other areas of England.
What makes us different is that we specialize in children’s goods.
Your children will no doubt get involved in the process of donating and
receiving on the site (although you have to be over 18 to use the site).
My son needed quite a lot of persuasion to let go of his dearly loved first
bike. However last week he received an Action Man from the site and he
is now very keen to donate his old toys! We hope you and your children
will gain a great deal in many ways by using the site.
